Pete Straus is a multi-instrumentalist, most noted for playing bass with punk band Dwarves. Straus has also performed with Penetration Moon, Chris Von Sneidern and John Vanderslice among many others.

Involvement with Mark Eitzel

Straus played bass on Mark Eitzel's "Can You See?" and "Without You" from Eitzel's 2001 album The Invisible Man. He also played bass on "Ain't No Sunshine" and "Rehearsals For Retirement" on Eitzel's 2002 album Music For Courage And Confidence.
