Marc Capelle is a multi-instrumental musician and composer. Capelle has performed with many artists throughout his career, including American Music Club, Mark Eitzel, The Plastic Ono Band, Third Eye Blind, Preston School Of Industry, The Fresh & Onlys, Tommy Guerrero, Marc & The Casuals and the West Coast Spiritual Corinthians. Additionally Capelle is music director for the Porchlight Storytelling series.

Capelle joined AMC for their 2004 reunion album Love Songs For Patriots, playing a variety of piano, organ, keyboards, and arranging of brass sections. Capelle performed with the band through 2005, also appearing on their A Toast To You live album. He rejoined the band in 2009 and performed with them through 2011.

Capelle first played with Mark Eitzel on Eitzel's 2001 The Invisible Man album, playing piano and organ and arranging brass parts for the album, in addition to organ on EItzel's tour CD Eitzel Superhits International. He co-wrote the music for "The Boy With The Hammer In The Paper Bag" from The Invisible Man as well. Capelle played piano and organ on most of Eitzel's 2003 Music For Courage And Confidence. Also in 2003 Capelle and Eitzel co-wrote the song "What The Girl Didn't Say" for the You Can Never Go Fast Enough compilation album. Capelle played piano on "The Blood On My Hands" for Eitzel's 2009 Klamath release, and appears as Eitzel's keyboard accompanist on his 2017 live CD, Copenhagen 2009. Capelle has performed live with Eitzel throughout his solo career.
